The iPad app was first and foremost to support the sales team. Frequently the internet connection would be uncertain at best, and access to the PDFs regardless the environment gave the sales team confidence in their sales presentation — making the most of every minute.
Solution
In early 2012, an iPad app solved the challenges and with style. The app energized the sales team, allowing the conversation to focus on the advisor needs and not rely on a one-directional presentation. As the advisor expressed a need, the resource was available in a couple taps. Native iOS code ensured that the app was lightning fast.
Results
The advisor awards were recognition of how the iPad app changed the playing field for the RidgeWorth sales team. Forward thinking and continued investment in technology allowed RidgeWorth to position the firm as industry leaders — and not just with advisors. RidgeWorth was recognized by a national publication alongside firms that were 3-4 times their size.
