Challenge
Providing quality information the way people want to recieve it creates a better experience and increased engagement. When content is only in one location, the distribution is simple. When the content is spread across multiple devices and multiple sites, it gets trickier.
Solution
The solution allowed for podcast audio files and metadata to be added to the main CMS. The podcasts were available on the website in the podcast area, tagged for products and showed on the individual product pages automatically, the audio files were selectively added to landing pages, and the podcasts were available offline on the iPad app. The podcasts were additionally available on iTunes.
Results
Keeping audio files and other metadata centrally located means the content is always in sync and accurate. The tracking across devices supported the need to keep producing the content. The sales team had easy ways to get updates while they were traveling, and the advisors could hear straight from the portfolio managers through the app.
